The 1849 ‘La Grange’ voyage from Salem, MA to Sacramento, CA offers the best documented gold-rush voyage material yet discovered. Explore it with a former TAH grant Co-organizer/Museum Educator as she describes and interprets this fascinating body of evidence. A sample lesson plan will be provided.
